Welcome to Australasian Law Teachers Association Conference (ALTA) 2009.

It is with great pleasure that we invite you to participate in the Australasian Law Teachers Association Conference 2009 (ALTA 2009), proudly hosted by the School of Law, University of Western Sydney.

The Conference will be held at the Rosehill Racecourse, Parramatta from 5-8 July 2009. The main venue will be Rosehill Gardens Event Centre in the geographic heart of Sydney and close to the Parramatta Justice Precinct. Rosehill is easily accessible via the M4 Motorway and has many public transport options nearby. There is also ample parking car spaces.

With a theme of The doctor as God; the corporation as Queen: What about the country? the Conference promises to be one not to be missed!

Who Should Attend?
The Conference Committee welcome participation by all people with law related interests, including legal academics and members of the profession.

Come along to the Conference – enjoy the sessions, take the opportunity to participate in the year’s largest gathering of law educators, catch up with your colleagues during the sensational social events, and then stay a few days and take advantage of all the region has to offer!
